How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent local provider. Staffrelevant Septic makes the introduction. It does not do the work, and it does not stand in for the provider.

So there is no staff list here. What matters is the provider you are matched with, and the questions you ask that provider.

What Happens on the Call

Here is the usual order:

1. First, the provider asks what you see. Slow drains, odors, a backup, a wet yard. 2. Next, expect questions about the home. Age, tank location, and when the tank was last pumped. 3. Then the provider explains the likely cause and the next step. 4. Last, you get a quote. Ask for it in writing.

Have your notes ready. If you do not know where the tank is, say so. That is common for first-time owners.

What to Ask a Provider

Keep this list handy:

  • Do you serve my address?
  • What will you check first?
  • Is this routine septic tank pumping, or a repair?
  • What does the quote include?
  • Could a private well nearby affect the plan?
  • How soon can you come out? (Timing varies by provider.)
  • Can you help document damage for an insurance claim?

Write down the answers. Compare them if you talk to more than one provider.

You Are in Control

Sending a request does not lock you in. There is no obligation to hire anyone. You can ask questions, get a written quote, and decide at your own pace.

If something feels unclear, ask again. A provider should explain the work in plain words. If the answers do not satisfy you, you can say no and talk to someone else.
